The UK Intellectual Property Office has extended the deadline for the IPOs IP Audit Plus Scheme until March 2018.
In the UK, SMEs can access funding up to £2600 incl. VAT for an audit of their IP position. These audits aim to provide innovative SMEs with support and advice relating to generation, commercialisation and management of their IP rights, identifying how current and future assets may be used in the context of a broader business strategy.
A qualifying SME must be engaged on the innovate2succeed or EEN programme, to participate in these programmes and access this funding, reach out to your local EEM contact point.
The total value of the IP audit is £3000 inclusive of VAT. £2600 (incl. VAT) provided by the IPO and £400 (incl. VAT) by the participating business.
The funded audit must be conducted by an IP professional within two months of approval from funding from the IPO.
