By taxi
Tell your driver to head for “Pemberton Row, on the corner of Gough Square”. Most know Dr Johnson’s House.  If necessary, tell the driver to head down New Fetter Lane, then left into West Harding Street and sharp right into Pemberton Row.

By tube (underground)
Nearest tube stations are Chancery Lane, Farringdon or Temple. See our map or follow the brown “tourist signs” for Dr Johnson’s House: we are next door.

By bus
Many buses run along Holborn.  Get off at Chancery Lane tube station and walk down New Fetter Lane. Services run along Fleet Street.  Get off at the Ludgate Hill end and walk into and through Gough Square.

By car
There is a public car park on Shoe Lane and (limited) meter parking in Chancery Lane.
