Nashim Imam

Nashim specialises in patenting various metallurgical and mechanical inventions. He also handles some trademark work. His main areas of interest include

Ceramic and glass materials; refractory insulation; furnaces
Carbon materials and carbon artefacts such as metal melting crucibles
Magnetic materials; superconductors; dielectrics
Piezoelectrics
Electroceramics
Fuel cells; hydrogen storage.

Career history
Nashim spent eight years working as a project manager in research and development for two multinational firms. As well as recent experience in carbon-based refractory crucibles for the non-ferrous industry, he also has experience in various oxide refractory components such as thermal insulation products and injection moulding of ceramic cores for the aeronautical industry.

During his R&D work, Nashim became an inventor and his interest in patents commenced. Nashim joined Phillips and Leigh in 2004 to train as a Patent Attorney.
